The Tea Party Patriots are upset with John Boehner over this commment in a November 8 interview with Diane Sawyer:
“Listen, I think this has been the most misreported story of my two years’ tenure. We don’t have a tea party caucus to speak of in the House.”
Boehner is a member of the "beltway GOP establishment" that denies the importance of the Tea Party, and they want their due. According to TPP, the establishment "Refused to utter the words 'tea party' once during the entire GOP convention," "Said – this week – 'Obamacare is the law of the land'” and "This week – denied we exist."
I agree with the Tea Party Patriots on this issue. All Republicans should proclaim their allegiance to the Tea Party at least once every sentence. They should understand, as the post says,
"We are the last Patriots standing . . . the last best hope for America."
Just keep saying it, over and over and over. Because if you don't, these Patriots will take their tea bags and go home.
