The election is fast approaching, so the I'm-a-patriot-and-you're-a-traitor crowd is at it again. Pima County Tea Party Patriot founder Ally Miller has added two flags to her campaign signs.
Ally and her ilk believe flag waving and using "Freedoms" three times in every sentence give them license to trample on the rights of people who don't look or think like them. To paraphrase a book on language I once read, they confuse the map with the territory. "If I put a flag next to my house and hold one in my hand, that means I'm more American than you are." T'ain't so, Ally. T'ain't so.
At 6:00 am Sunday morning I put up a number of Steve Farley's signs in the northwest part of LD9. At least two of them in the vicinity of Ally Miller's signs. At 12 noon Sunday those two Steve Farley signs were gone, and the little flags had newly appeared on Miller's signs. I am aware that correlation does imply causation, but one can't help wondering....
