Willard "Mittens" Romney doesn't know his countries from his continents any better than did the Quitta from Wasilla, Sarah Palin, in 2008. Romney referred to Libya, Egypt and Mali as being in the Middle East -- These are countries in North Africa. Romney also made this jaw-dropping statement:
“Syria is Iran’s only ally in the Arab world. It’s their route to the sea.” — Romney
The Washington Post's fact checker Glenn Kessler says "Romney says this a lot but it is an unusual statement, considering that Syria shares no border with Iran — Iraq and Turkey are in the way — and that Iran has about 1,500 miles of coastline along the Persian Gulf and Gulf of Oman, leading to the Arabian Sea."
Sweet Jesus! This guy wants to be the leader of the free world and he can't even find the Middle East on a map? Let me educate you, Mittens.
Romney also repeated his oft-repeated favorite lie:
“The president began what I have called an apology tour, of going to various nations in the Middle East and criticizing America.” — Romney
Again, the Washington Post's fact checker Glenn Kessler says "Back in early 2011, this column awarded Romney Four Pinocchios for the “apology tour” claim, saying it was not borne out by the facts. Here’s a link to our lengthy look at this claim."
Romney’s new ad this morning features footage of him at yesterday’s debate attacking Obama for his fictional apology tour. He is a shameless pathological liar.
Kessler continues: "As for Romney’s criticism of the fact that Obama did not visit Israel, we have noted before that few presidents have visited Israel in their first term. George W. Bush, a strong supporter of Israel, did not visit until the end of his second term — and Ronald Reagan never visited at all."
Obama visited Israel as a candidate in 2008, and his response to Romney's childish taunt was devastating:
OBAMA: Bob, let me -- let me respond.
If we're going to talk about trips that we've taken -- when I was a candidate for office, first trip I took was to visit our troops. And when I went to Israel as a candidate, I didn't take donors. I didn't attend fundraisers. I went to Yad Beshef (ph), the Holocaust museum there, to remind myself the nature of evil and why our bond with Israel will be unbreakable.
And then I went down to the border towns of Storok (ph), which had experienced missiles raining dowm from Hamas. And I saw families there who showed me there where missiles had come down near their children's bedrooms. And I was reminded of what that would mean if those were my kids. Which is why as president, we funded an Iron Dome program to stop those missiles.
OBAMA: So that's how I've used my travels, when I travel to Israel and when I travel to the region. And the -- the central question at this point is going to be: Who is going to be credible to all parties involved? And they can look at my track record, whether it's Iran sanctions, whether it's dealing with counterterrorism, whether it's supporting democracy, whether it's supporting women's rights, whether it's supporting religious minorities.
And they can say that the President of the United States and the United States of America has stood on the right side of history. And that kind of credibility is precisely why we've been able to show leadership on a wide range of issues facing the world right now.
Romney is dangerously unprepared to be commander-in-chief. I do not want my life or the lives of other Americans in his hands.
"Sweet Jesus! This guy wants to be the leader of the free world and he can't even find the Middle East on a map? Let me educate you, Mittens."
Romney was speaking in the context of the debate topic on foreign policy and the sanctions restricting the finances and trade of Iran. Although Iran is indeed located on the seacoast of the Indian Ocean and the Persian Gulf, the international trade sanctions have restricted and impeded its ability to transport armaments and other goods through its own seaports. To defeat these trade sanctions, Iran has resorted to using its air transportation to transport goods through an air corridor in Iraqi airspace into Syria and its seaports, such as Latakia. You falsely portray Romney as being ignorant of this geography, when it is you who ignorantly or deliberately mis-state the facts.
Libya, Egypt and Mali are , in fact, are countries in North Africa. However, when speaking in geo-political terms, it is common practice to lump them into the broad "Middle East".

Context is a b***h isn't it?
"Let me educate you, Mittens."
LOL!!!! No ofense Blue, but, Romney graduated from BYU in 1971 with a Degree in English, with a 3.97GPA. He obtained his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1975 and graduated cum laude from Harvaed Law School with his Juris Doctor the same year, finishing in the top 5% of his class.

Your data on his academic accomplishments prove only that he can learn and regurgitate nformation. this says absolutely nothing about his ability reason! Nothing about his moral vision! Just, he can learn and regurgitate information.
