Our Gov. George Wallace in a dress, Jan Brewer, can barely contain her contempt for that Black man in the White House, President Obama. Today, Brewer: Obama Pandering, Race-Baiting For Latino Vote:
As Republicans continue their struggle to win over Latino voters, few party members have embodied the party’s image problem with the burgeoning voting bloc more than Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer. Her state’s controversial law, SB 1070, was criticized by many as a facilitator of racial profiling. During her 2010 campaign, Brewer sought to link crime with illegal immigration by alleging that law enforcement had found decapitated bodies in the Arizona desert, despite no such evidence for the claim.
But on Tuesday, Brewer chalked up the GOP’s low standing among Latino voters to pandering on the part of President Barack Obama. Appearing on “POLITICO LIVE” at the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Fla., Brewer said Obama has ignored border security in favor of winning more Latino votes.
“He panders to them,” Brewer said. “Look what he’s done: he hasn’t secured the borders.”
* * *
“I think President [sic] Romney believes in the rule of law, and he knows and understands” Brewer said. “When he becomes president, I think we’re going to be able to solve a lot of these issues.”
She also contended that Democratic charges of racism directed at border hawks within the Republican Party are unfair.
“It’s all the time, that we’re race-baiting; it’s all the time, you know, that we’re bigots,” Brewer, who added that Obama is also guilty of race-baiting on the issue.
Uh-huh. Have you got an example, George? "I'm rubber, you're glue" is not an answer, you embarrassment.
No, Jan..you dumb twit! I think you all do a great job of that ALL BY YOURSELVES!!! http://www.harpers.org/archive/2012/08/hbc-90008805
An unscripted moment happened late this afternoon that caused the assembled mainstream media to turn away in the hope that it would disappear. As I was standing in line for a sandwich next to an Italian and a Puerto Rican correspondent, a controversy was unfolding on the floor. The RonPaulites, whose furious devotion to a single idea have made them the Ellen Jamesians of the right, were protesting a decision by RNC officials not to seat members of the Maine delegation, which was split between Paul and Romney supporters following rule changes made just prior to the convention. There were energetic shouts of “Aye!” and “Nay!” as a Puerto Rican party functionary—Zoraida Fonalledas, the chairwoman of the Committee on Permanent Organization—took her turn at the main-stage lectern. As she began speaking in her accented English, some in the crowd started shouting “U.S.A.! U.S.A.!”
There's more....

Not to be outdone...let's not forget this. http://2012.talkingpointsmemo.com/2012/08/cnn-republican-convention-black-camerawoman.php
An attendee at the Republican National Convention in Tampa on Tuesday allegedly threw nuts at a black camerawoman working for CNN and said “This is how we feed animals” before being removed from the convention, a network official confirmed to TPM.
What a disgusting gathering of village idiots.

The party of the extremely rude and monumentally stupid is dead. If last night was the best they had, it's epic fail. I won't vote for the Romneybot, just because Ann loves him and Christie's a liar. His mother may have tried to teach him respect, but it didn't stick.
The GOP has nothing but disdain for Americans, and they prove it every time they open their mouths.

Here are some comments from people in NJ:
"Speaking about absentee management. Where is our Governor? He is the king of absentee management. The right ideas for America? His budget is not working. More people are out of work in N.J. since his inauguration. He is elsewhere. He has failed us. Show me factually where I am wrong."
"Christie, once again, not only embarrassed himself but all NJ residents with that egotistical, amateurish rant last night. I'm thrilled, because America now sees what a buffoon he is, and we can rest easy about talk of this fool someday becoming president."
"Horrible speech that was more about himself than the Republican nominee. But thats typical C.C. If I was Mitt I would have pulled him aside after the convention and said "Thanks for nothing".
Too bad someone didn't teach him when he was growing up that being an egotistical, lying bully are not good qualities for anyone. He just might have been a better politician and human being."
"I never heard a full speech from Christie only sound bites on FOX, he should stick to that. After hearing that speech i know he will never be President. The speech was all over the place, he has no gravitas. he sounded like a cheerleader at a pep rally. The republicans have no ideas to solve problems only who is to blame for your problems. Romney looked stiff and nervous. The president will win re-election, Four more years!!!"
"Our ideas are right for America."
"Actually, they're not. We've tried them several times. They didn't work. Cutting taxes on the uber wealthy didn't create jobs under Bush (nor Obama) and they won't now. The only business people who should see lower taxes are local and regional businesses who actually pay taxes without loopholes which see the uber wealthy pay nothing in taxes."

Christie gets two half truths from Politifact which in NJ math equals a "mostly true."
So I'll do the fact checking for his "always choose respect" comment."
The Republican governor called a former Navy SEAL an “idiot” and told him to “shut up” during a town hall back in March, later saying he had “no regrets at all” about the exchange.

Questioner named Gail:
“You don’t send your children to public schools. You send them to private schools, so I was wondering why you think it’s fair to be cutting funding to public schools?” the woman asked.
Christie:
“Hey Gail, you know what, first of all it’s none of your business. I don’t ask you where you send your kids to school. Don’t bother me where I send mine,” the governor responded.
Yes, The people at the top of the Republican tier are really ugly in spirit and in deeds. (And I know this thread is about Brewer, but I really detest Chris Christie, and liars are interchangeable in the GOP.)
