Darcy Olsen, President of the Goldwater Institute, knows just how bad I feel about today's Supreme Court Decision.

Dear David,
At the time of this writing, only a few hours have passed since the U.S. Supreme Court issued its calamitous decision upholding the bulk of the federal health care law. I share in your disappointment, surprise and frustration.

As much as today's decision may feel like the end of the road, I assure you that the battle rages on.

We lost a battle today, but the fight for freedom endures. We look forward to working with you in the months ahead to reverse this destructive path and continue restoring and protecting the freedoms we cherish.

I kid, but I take G.I. very seriously, like I would, say, pneumonia. The email I got wasn't a pitch for money. It was a statement of commitment. A promise. A threat. Call it what you will. These folks have lots of money and time on their hands.
