ICYMI, The Hill reported that Dr. Richard Carmona has closed to within 4 points of Rep. Jake Flake in a poll conducted by a Republican pollster for the GOP, confirming the results of the internal poll conducted for the Carmona campaign last week. Carmona within 4 points of Flake in GOP firm’s poll - The Hill's Ballot Box
Rep. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) has just a 4-point lead over Democrat Richard Carmona in the Senate race in Arizona, according to a poll released Thursday by a Republican firm.
The survey from Magellan Strategies shows Flake leading Carmona 44 percent to 40. That’s the same margin as an internal poll from Carmona’s campaign released last week that also showed him down 4 to Flake.
The poll did not test Flake’s primary opponent, businessman Wil Cardon.
The poll of 909 registered Arizona voters was conducted April 30-May 2 using automated telephone interviews, and had a margin of error of plus or minus 3.25 percentage points.
I am not sure why this poll did not test the GOP primary with Wil Cardon. There has not been any polling in some time. "Objects in your rear view mirror may be closer than they appear." Teabagger Wil Cardon could do to Jeff Flake what teabagger Richard Mourdock is about to do to Indiana institution Sen. Richard Lugar on Tuesday. Wil Cardon could be our "I'm not a witch" Christine O'Donnell gift from the gods.
Earlier this week, the Washington Post ran a front page feature story on the Carmona for Senate campaign. Richard Carmona, former Bush surgeon general, best hope of turning Arizona blue, Democrats say - The Washington Post.
¡Feliz Cinco de Mayo!
Why is it common for liberals to use the gay slur "teabaggers" to describe their political opponents? Isn't that a bit hypocritical?

Tea Party members' use of 'teabagger' and to 'tea bag' was well established by December 2009. http://www.mediaite.com/tv/is-teabagger-an-epithet-rachel-maddow-teaches-a-tea-party-history-lesson/ The fact that they were too ignorant to realize the other cultural usage of this term is what makes them the object of derision.
And it's not a gay slur - if you want to dangle your dingleberries on your wife's forehead, go ahead, that's your business.
