Last night Obama went on the air just before the SOTU with an ad featuring Governor Napolitano. I wouldn't be surprised if we started seeing ads in Southern Arizona featuring newly-converted Congressman Raul Grijalva to try to combat some of the difficulty Obama has been having appealing to Hispanic voters.
Here's an online ad featuring Janet. It's not the same one as aired before the SOTU, I don't think. If anyone finds that one online, please shoot me a link or leave a comment.
See the ad after the click...
Why is Obama having such trouble with Latinos? It is overwhelming. Tonight in Florida, she earned over 60% over voting Latinos. He also massively lost the white vote.
While it is a beauty contest, there is still almost 2 million Democratic voters in that state. Those results are telling.
I think that despite the recent momentum, The Clinton's have done a fantastic job of making Barack out to be a "black" candidate. As disgusted as it has made Ted Kennedy and others...it has worked.
I am very very worried about Obama...and I am a huge huge supporter.

I agree with Kralmajales on every point he made.
My concerns are very real about what Kralmajales expressed also.
It is now become race against race and gender against gender issues; while our Border sits with wide open floodgates letting in Billions of dollars worth of drugs and hundreds of terrorists from around the world not to speak of the millions of illegal Mexican Nationals that crossed into the Tucson Sector in 2007!
Its a sad day when F-16's must fly sorties from Nogales to The Super Bowl in Phoenix to scan for terrorists crossing our Southern Border because The Federal Government has FAILER for 30 years to Secure our Border which it could do in a matter of days if it wanted to!
My question is "Why does'nt it want to, and is that good for your and my best iterests; not just as having a "Big Heart" but our pocket books from wages to jobs?

Wow, the gap between Dwights reality and that the rest of live in has never been more apparent... well, actually it frequently has, but I wax cliche. Hundreds of terrorists? No proof of a single one exists. Millions of Mexicans in 2007? Even the most alarmist ideologues claim only a few hundred thousand. Billions in drugs? Maybe if you count all the prescriptions granny and gramps are buying...
In any case, Dwight is demonstrating his completely unrealistic view of the border when he claims that the government could secure our border in a matter of days. If they wanted to murder our economy, break our laws and the laws of nations by simply shooting everyone who attempted to cross, and make our nation even more of a paranoid pariah than it already is, I suppose that's true. Most would not consider such action justified to be less harmful than the problems attendant to the current situation.
And perhaps only Dwight could find some way to twist every goddamn thing back the friggin' border. Not all our problems -- not even a significant subset of them (though obviously the GOP would be happy were you to conclude otherwise) -- can be related to the bloody border.

Kralmajales,
I responded to your Florida concerns over on SED, but here it is again.
I lived in northern Florida from birth through college graduation. Northern Florida, from the panhandle to the east coast, was the Deep South. It is still VERY conservative. Southern Florida is very different from the north. There is a large population of retired white people many of whom are Jews and there is also a very large Latino population.
Someone should explain why Latinos like Hillary because I surely do not get it. But no one has to explain the rest of it. Hillary is the choice of the Israel Lobby, no competition there. Hillary is also the choice of elderly whites who do not want a black president.
Kral, I do not think that Florida had much to do with the Clintons being successful at making Obama into a "black" candidate. Florida demographics just happen to be favorable to Clinton, that's the bottom line. Anyhow, with an election that doesn't count, and MOST of the voters knew it didn't count, what can you really say about the results?
I think we know where Hillary's strengths are among the electorate. She's got a lot of support, to be sure. But so does Obama, and there may be some breaks yet to come, maybe an endorsement from John Edwards?

Interesting comment by kralmajales. My friend made a similar comment earlier today. She said she was afraid the Hispanics in Arizona would "mess up the vote" because they are so conservative. (Mind you this is only an observation, and not a slur, since she is married to a Hispanic man, whom she loves dearly.) She's seriously concerned that they will vote Republican in November because they won't want a black or a woman leader. I reminded her that a vote for the Republicans is a vote for the status quo-- more war, continued tax cuts for the rich, no healthcare reform, border fences, etc. Remember all of those Viva Bush stickers 4 years ago. Yikes.
In the meantime, go Hillary! You're doing great dancing backwards and in heels. (Remember Ginger?)

A vote for Hillary is a vote for the status quo as well. The DLC is not anyone's idea of a progressive organization and Hillary is just another old party warhorse who runs a dirty campaign.
No more Bushes, no more Clintons!
Vote for Obama!
