Drinking Liberally presents Screening Liberally this Thursday. Liberal Drinkers will be attending Al Gore's 'An Inconvient Truth' at the 5:10 pm showing at Century El Con 20. Look for the Drinking Liberally pins on people in the lobby. You can buy tickets at the door (no danger of sell-outs now) or buy them online in advance at Fandango.com or by calling 1-800-FANDANGO.
Following the movie, we will repair to the Shanty (4th Avenue and 9th Street at the Underpass) for drinks, snacks, and discussion. Movie-goers will be arriving at the Shanty at about 7:30 pm. It may be a bit quiet at the regular starting time of 6 pm, but there will undoubtedly be Liberal Drinkers there who've already seen the film, or don't care to.
OMG that clip is hilarious! Too bad I'll be out of town.. hopefully we'll go next time. :)

I saw the movie last Saturday and it is very well done. I urge everyone to see it! It makes me weep to think how different our America would be if Gore had been elected!

Hey guys. I'd love to go to the film and the Shanty but without transportation. Could anybody lend a ride? Please e-mail me if you can (I live just north of the UA campus): [email protected]

You picked a bad night, Mr. Byran. Howard Dean is coming to town tomorrow at the same time. Otherwise we would join you on another night.

Actually, I knew what I was competing with. I figured a film would be additional incentive for those who weren't going to see Dean to come out. Who else could compete with Dean than Gore?
