The club is a standard investment club, wherein regular folks invest a minimum small amount each month ($25) and then meet to discuss, research, and decide how to invest their money for best return. When a member leaves the club, they simply cash out their investment, like a mutual fund, only we are all the managers.

Where Investing Liberally is different from other investing clubs, however, in that we seek superior returns by supporting emerging green and sustainable technology, encouraging the development of emerging energy markets, having a positive impact on the poor by empowering them to build wealth, and encouraging and supporting democratic and equitable business practices.

This list is not exhaustive. We seek to discover how investors can make the world a little better by being more mindful about how and where they invest their money. Our investing philosophy is, quite simply, liberal. And we're OK with that. We think we'll beat the market by being liberals.

To that end, we also seek to educate the public about what we discover. We will post regular updates about the investment opportunities we choose, and those we reject. Out entire portfolio will be online for interested persons to track, emulate, or try to beat using investments priorities.
